My good friend wrote a great post today. You may not agree with him 100% (and that’s o.k.) BUT his final paragraph is well worth the read!

  1. Even though I don’t have much confidence in our government, I can’t blame them for some of their shortcomings, especially where assistance programs are concerned. God did not give government the job of loving our neighbor on our behalf. What would I like to see changed in my community? Let’s start with me. God soften my heart and help me share what I have with someone who needs it. Don’t let me be greedy. Help me to not be upset if someone takes advantage of me. Let me be willing to take the risk. I pray it in Jesus’ name.
